![]() Greater Cincinnati Foreign Language Academy Our mission. Baby Lingua, LLC., dba Cincinnati Foreign Language Academy recognizes and respects the uniqueness of each child. The school's primary mission is to foster a love of learning in each student. We are committed to fluency. We at Baby Lingua believe every child is fully capable of learning multiple languages. A child can learn as many languages as you expose them to. We provide your child with teachers who have your child's needs in mind. We want your child to learn in a comfortable, safe environment. We strive to provide each child with the necessary learning tools to reach the goal of fluency. Each child is a valued individual deserving of respect. All students can learn, if the material is presented in a way that is beneficial and challenging. Learning is a process that combines knowledge and motivation. Foreign languages are important because they improve various areas of the brain involved in intelligence which results in better formation of learning other disciplines. A child's brain is hard-wired to learn languages very easily from birth to age three. It is still fairly easy, but not as much so between the ages of four and six. As they reach the age of traditional school age, the ability to learn easily is dropping significantly. Learning at a young age will leave your child without an accent. Studies have shown that children who have had foreign language study do better in school. In general, they have better math skills and as they reach high school, they receive higher scores on tests such as the ACT and SAT. Parents who give their children a chance to learn a foreign language agree that it is not only possible, but worthwhile. We offer classes and summer camps at our facility as well as at elementary schools, preschools, Montessori's, MOPS and more. We offer Spanish, French, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, German, Italian, ESL and ASL. We are members of NAEYC, KWLA, OFLA, Asia Society, MLA and ACTFL. We make learning fun. 525 West Fifth Street Suite 104 Covington 41011 Kentucky View Map Also listed in: Foreign Languages Music Classes » Other |
