Smith Memorial Playground & Playhouse Smith Memorial Playground & Playhouse is a one-of-a-kind century old play space just minutes from Center City Philadelphia. The six acre Playground, for children 0 - 10 years old, is home to the Ann Newman Giant Wooden Slide, giant see-saws, climbing boulders, swings, a giant net climber, and more. The huge Playhouse, a play mansion, features three floors of play for children 0 - 5 years old with everything from a climb-on train to a room with tricycles and stop signs. Children who visits Smith must be accompanied by an adult. Admission is free.
